I'm TNBC and there is no pill I am qualified to take. However, my ocologist wants me to do an additional study after radiation. I'm already in that Lipitor study.

@A MyBCTeam Member hello. I hope you are having a good day. I'm sure that was frightening. You're a pink Lady and you've pushed through. The lipitor 40mg study will hopefully reduce any recurrence of breast cancer.

I wonder how Lipitor prevents reoccurence. I was on ststins 10 years ago and they almost killed me. It destroyed all my muscles and started to affect my heart.

I am also TNBC and enrolled in a clinical trial that was testing whether Carboplatein added to Taxol after surgery would help stop reoccurence. I did one round of Carboplatein and 3 rounds of Taxol and my blood counts crashed so low, that I missed a month of chemo. They had to stop the Carboplatein. What type of trat, met are they testing? I am so nervous that there is no treatment after chemo.
