Just before surgery, my PS came and marked me. He had marked a place on my stomach where they would take it if they needed to. He did not take any after all, which was fine since I didn't need any more scars!! Not a silly question!

I had fat graft at the time of my exchange surgery. My PS took fat from my sides where my bra covers. I also have 5 rounds of fat grafts because of the fat dying because it couldn't form its blood supply. Those rounds the fat was taken from my stomach and I can tell a difference.

I wished they had taken more "fat" too. Mine came from the stomach area - in fact the PS used the incision line from my Caesarian section.

It was bruised for a while afterwards. The doctor didn't take enough to notice a difference. It's not like having lipo and coming out with a flat belly. I stilk have a muffin too.

Some do not need it all depends on how thin the skin is after expansion and rads if you had them
