Not sure if this is the same...I did neo-adjuvant due to location of tumor and having TNBC. Before surgery I had my first and only MRI on my breasts and came back that my inner mammary node looked suspicious for metastasis, so they ordered a PET scan and it did not light up only the breast cancer we knew showed up. I had a bi-lateral mastectomy with reconstruction. Finished 9 rounds of Taxol, only did 3 before surgery due to pain they stopped. After I finished Taxol on 2/10/17 I had another PET scan which was primarily to check the inner mammary node again to make sure it still didn't show anything and to also verify I didn't l have cancer anywhere else. All came back negative, so Oncologist is not sure if chemo took care of the node or more likely it was inflamed from the breast cancer. Very scary for a long time...

Nodes can be large due to infection or illness.
