I've been having chemo for 10 weeks now and when my hair started coming out in clumps, my stylist shaved my head. My hair continued to grow very slowly. The stubble pulled when I wore scarves and it actually hurt so I shaved my head closer with a razor. I loved the smoothness but now it's grown again (maybe 1/8") and it itches like crazy. I don't have a rash but the oncology nurse said to use moisturizer which helps for about an hour.

I had complete pimple like outbreak over my whole head and a little itching but also extremely tender. I bought 100% tea tree oil and wiped my scalp a couple of times a day. It calmed everything down and it's also all natural. Good luck!
Coconut oil. I was using coconut oil like every 2 o 3 hours . I hope that will help.
Like you when my hair started to fall out my stylist shaved my head. I found out from the lady who fitted me for a wig that the pain and intense itching was normal and she suggested shampoo on a face washer and use it like a loofah on my scalp. I did this every day and wow what a difference. My oncologist is floored by how thick my hair is now. I hope this helps.
Wishing you all the best in your journey.
I used coconut oil faithfully. I also washed my head with baby shampoo & used a wet/dry baby brush to keep the circulation flowing. Castor oil has helped as it grows back as well.
So glad the coconut oil worked!
