About 7 days post 3rd chemo treatment, I started seeing my face well cheeks getting red, I have rosacea and I thought it was that but next day it was hot to touch and then 9 days my cheeks, chin and nose (parts of bald head too) are super red like I have a severe sunburn. I took a benadryl but would love any tips. Thank you, Teri
PS; taxotere and cyotan (sp?) are my chemo drugs.

Thank you! I think your right I need to see my dermatologist to see if I can get something. Face still like a tomato 🍅
My cheeks & part of my forehead get sunburn red a day after treatment. Mine comes from the decadron steroid I get with treatment. But mine usually goes away or lessens in a day or 2. Definitely talk to your treatment team.
I had Adriamycin/Cytoxen first 3 months and Taxotere second 3 mos. 8 treatments total, every 3 weeks.
@A MyBCTeam Member ASK ONCOLOGIST..to cut back on that taxotere.. mine did.. cuz burns on feet made it so I could barely walk. ask him.. before it gets worse. taxotere is a very strong mean chemo. see what he says.
