DO catch your breath....and also know that nearly every one of us pause and suck in our breath when we find a little doo-dad that wasn't there before. I found a hard lump on one side of my larynx and shot myself out of a cannon to my oncologist; turns out, it was a congenital deviation...that'd I'd never noticed before...because I wasn't the hawk that cancer has rendered me into.
It's just as well- we're doing right by ourselves to square away everything that comes to our attention. It's part of being a good soldier. BUT, take that breath, call and set up, and know that a resolution is near. Investigation get you past the unimportant, or to the solution. Both are GOOD things.

Hi Karen, thank you for asking..........I go on Wednesday to see the Ophthalmologist. Been reading alot about Tamoxifen and how it can effect the eyes. Good thing is that I have no changes except for floaters which I believe are normal. Will let you know! Oh how I hate to have my eyes dilated. Also, this was the first time I made them dilate my eyes because I always had to go back to work and was also scared of it. So, maybe this was there all along as I am blaming it on the treatments. Who knows!
keep us posted!
Thank you Karen - you are so right!
I already have Retinopathy and Diabetic Macular Edema. Since my first chemo I notice my retinopathy has gotten worse. I have an appointment with my eye doctor in November. I wonder if fluctuating in vision are normal.
