Very painful and stiff joints in the morning that get better after a walk, but usually don't resolve until noon. Based on comments here I may ask my oncologist to switch me, since this wasn't his first choice. The insurance required I start with this med first before trying the others.

It hasnt been too bad. A lttle more aches and pains but I'm also on Herceptin which cause this too. Mostly I get headaches and just take Tylenol.

I have two friends that are on it. Been on it for 5 years. Both of them have no side effects. I've been on Femara for a year and half. No problem with that as well. Maybe a pain here and there but I probably had that before Femara !!!

Same here. Femara and Ibrance. No real side effects. Aching joints and tired but nothing crazy.

So far, so good. I've been on it since June 28th. I was on Tamoxifen fist, but switched when I had the ovaries removed. I felt some muscle soreness with Tamoxifen, but not with, well, my bottle says Anastrozole, but that's Arimidex, right? I was worried about the switch, but I sleep better now too.
