I had very dense breasts. 3D mammo detected a tiny anomaly (microcalcifications) that would have been hidden by 2D mammo. But the 3D mammo did not detect my 2 cancers, which were 5 mm each. Those were found by MRI, which is much more sensitive.

My last mammogram was 3-D. I didn't find it any more uncomfortable than a regular mammogram. Better results.

Go for the 3D mammo!

The 3d helped saved my life. Not one bit more uncomfortable.

3D mammos feel the same as regular mammos, they are just clearer I guess?
