It's something you'll probably have from winning the battle "it's a badge or a metal" from the fight. My fingers tingle, they are now :) it's been a year. If feel burning in my left breast (which at times scares the frenchtoast out of me) I'm to understand that's the aftermath from the war.

4 years out and still numb as well. Be sure to shave with a beard or mustache trimmer since you do not have any feeling....

I don't think neuropathy or numbness ever go away. I 'm 18 mos from mastectomy. still tender and numb.

We all stick together. All you women are wonderful and I feel so much support.

YEP, at times the numb fingers and toes are annoying, especially at the end of the day when I put my feet up. And my double mastectomy areas are still very sensitive and need massaged. They removed 15 lymph nodes on one side and 4 on the other. the old mastectomy feels worse (15 nodes removed) than the newer mastectomy last Dec 2015, because they took so much more skin and tissue and nodes (a modified radical mastectomy). I find myself massaging my flat chest in front of people and not being aware of it at times.. in my home of course. Was hoping this would all feel better some day but I havent even started reconstruction yet and it's worse than mastectomies and takes at least a year. God give me strength.. is all I can say........... Thank God for Mybcteam.com or I would feel so all alone with my predicament. hugs ladies. Hats off to you!

Sometimes I can hardly believe this all happened. It was 2 yrs I discovered b/c myself on July 4, 2014. What a frikkin journey! Seems like 10 yrs ago.
