Hi girls. It's been awhile since I've been on here. I pray for all of u everyday. I'm just wandering if anyone has experienced any spotting after chemo. In April it will be 2 years that I have not had a period and Sunday night I started spotting. I have been concerned about it but I haven't done it since and I hear that when ur period comes back after that long that it's vicious. Can anyone help on this subject?
Mine came back after 16 months, was spotty then pretty regular after that (21-28 days) for over 2 years, sometimes with spotting in between. Had two endometrial biopsies during that time that were negative. Then I went into menopause, and I'm 52 now. But yea, chemo can really mess up your body but eventually it gets into a normal rhythm.
Mines came back after 11 months. Then it stopped for the next couple of months. Then back again. I had one this past January 3Rd. Haven't seen one as of yet. And I'm not post menopausal (gyn Dr. did a test to se if I was. )And I'm 46 yes. Old. Mines have a mind of it's own. Smh..
I had mine last week after almost three yrs and it was the worst thing i ever experienced and i had 3 children. I thought i was hemorrhaging. I cried i could barely walk for 3 days. Good luck i don't wish the return on anybody
I spotted after chemo and it turned out that I had a fibroid tumor. I was just glad it wasnt a TUMOR TUMOR!! It bleed a lot at first but the second event was less and it hasnt happened since. I am now eight years out to treatment with no issues of bleeding.
I was wondering about this too. I was 38 when I had cytoxan & taxotere. I haven't had a cycle in 8 months.
