Blood clot

Has anyone gotten a blood clot during chemo and if so how did your doc handle it? Just found out I have a small blood clot in lung. My PC Doctor put me on a med but my Oncologist isn't back until later today.

Yes I had several! They were in and around my port! They caused pain and fever but the doctors gave me Xarelto to get rid of them....be careful! If you feel like something is wrong call your doctor ASAP!

Never had blood a blood cloth either. I'm with Lakesheia, of you feel anything wrong contact tour Dr.ASAP.

Thanks EllenK my primary care spoke w the oncologist on call for him and they have me on a med called Lovenox.
