The PET will give you an answer...

I have a troublesome 'spot' on my liver, but it doesn't uptake any of the FDG tracer. So even though I get to read about it every time I get a PET, it's not a cancer finding.

One node is pretty slight spread--I wouldn't expect distant mets if it hasn't hit your lymph system pretty hard already. But I'm not a doctor, and I suppose crazy things can happen. I'm glad the doc ordered the PET for you. It's always better to know than NOT to know, but the anxiety is maddening. I'm hoping very good things and some peace of mind for you once your scan results are in.

Had 10 nodes removed with 3 being positive. When first diagnosed they saw a spot and said "it's probably nothing." I said I don't want a probably I want a definite so they did a ct and it came back normal. Hang in there

Hi I had stage 3 BC my ct showed spot on liver had a pet scan and all was clear so try not to worry I was told it could have been the dye that had clogged around my liver that showed a small spot I am 5 months post treatment so far so good xxxx
