At age 62 ILC in right breast, mastecctomy, chemo, radiation and Anastrozole, at age 65 IDC in left breast, mastectomy, and currently in chemo. I cannot find information on statistics or anything about 2 different cancers in separate breast, There is plenty about 2 cancers in one breast

I had invasive ductal carcinoma in one breast. Nine months after radiation treatment, I was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma in my other breast. Quite frankly, it didn't matter to me that the cancers were different; rather, I just wanted to rid myself of my boobs as quickly as possible and I did. Post mastectomies, I did look into the scenario of two different cancers, but found nothing that shed any light on such a diagnosis. I never searched again and it's been three years. Let us know if you find any valuable data.

She is not a member and it was many years ago. 1994-1996 - so much has changed since then.
