UPDATE: My hair started falling out over the weekend so I went Monday and had it shaved. It feels great in this heat. I just hate that I had to go back to wearing hats or scarves. They are so warm, but the last thing I need or want is a sunburned scalp.

I was on Taxol and never lost my hair. Hmmmmm, wonder if they're the same..

I did 12 rounds of Taxol (well Abraxane really but it's the same drug) and my hair thinned quite a bit but I never lost it all. I'm a month past completion now and no regrowth yet. Just this week I feel the hair loss has really slowed down and almost stopped. Hoping it doesn't start back up again!

I think I may wait to shave, it's really short now anyways....

I am glad someone else asked this. I had 4 A/C rounds and 3 of 4 Taxol rounds...only one more Taxol left. My hair started falling out after my 2nd round of AC... so I shaved it and it left stubbles behind. They never fell out completely, so I scrubbed my head to get them all off as they were catching on my pillow, etc. Then I started noticing I have hair growing back. Its been over a month now. Hair is thin and not a full blown head of hair but it's continuing to grow. I had to shave my legs the other day too...not that there was a lot of hair to shave but felt some growth on my knees that was noticeable. My lashes and brows are still in tact.. much thinner and sparse but still hanging on. Another thing is my toe nails seem healthier than they were prior to treatment. It's really strange as I feel I have always had the opposite effect happen to me. I keep praying I keep my lashes, brows and toe nails... one Taxol left... I know there is always the possibility that they will fall out after treatment ends but it is so nice to hear from others who didn't loose them.
