Members discussed how they feel on Tamoxifen, with hot flashes, fatigue, joint pain, and sleep problems being the most commonly shared side effects. Several members noted that symptoms seemed to ease a bit after the first few months, while others explored switching to alternatives like Femara or adding Effexor to help manage hot flashes. A recurring theme was the challenge of sorting out which symptoms come from Tamoxifen versus chemo-induced menopause, with many leaning on each other for support and tips.

Hot flushes are my side effect although after 3 months I think they are calming down they don't seem to be as bad at night now.

after 3 months i feel like i am going to start my period...im 52 and stopped my period about 1 year and half ago. I want to get my uterus ultrasound and may get hysterectomy and ovaries out. Serious sweating on tamoxifen. It means it works but has other problems.
