Everyone reacts differently. People hear Chemotherapy and think automatically hair falls out and you are nauseous, that is so the easy part. On Adriamyicin, and Cytoxin I was bald nauseous, my fingernails hurt, vertigo(had to close my eyes when riding in a car. Eyelids stuck together Smells. .All my senses were on 10+. Especially sounds. It can be nerve wracking to be able to hear about 8-9 things clearly all at once. Muscle aches, exhaustion, etc. On Taxol, hands down has been a severe case of Neuropathy. This nerve pain and damage was so bad that sometimes I could not walk or stand up on my feet. Could not touch them to the floor, overall electrifying kind of feeling. Feet, hands legs burning, numbness. So annoying in the dead of winter for one's feet to get cold and only wear diabetic socks way too big so I couldn't feel them on my feet because it hurts. Had to pause treatment twice. I had to use a rolling walker for a while. Better but Still using a cane. Hope this doesn't scare you, I may just be a side effect magnet.

My muscle aches and weakness in my legs has been the worst part so far for me. Four weeks post chemo and trying to work every day has been a challenge. I have read it can last for years - ummm I don't think that will work for me!! Working hard with stretching, slow increase in activity and lots of fluids. Hoping for some improvement soon!

My worst SE's were muscle aches, which I dont see a lot of people experience. I had Joint pain from neulasta shot, but that disipated quickly. I had ups and downs with energy levels. The fatigue was just a depleted feeling. I had adversons to eating (yet no nausea). I have two kids under 5 so I had minimal to no rest. The best advice is live normally and listen to your body and try to rest when you can :)

I was on Adrmyacin and Cytoxin.. The worse for me was headaches, 24/7 nausea ,metallic taste in mouth and weakness. Each persons body handles it differently . Just know in between my treatments I did have an occasional good day and I did my chemo every 2 weeks so I had less recovery time as most chose to do chemo every 3 weeks. I just wanted to get it done quickly
