I was very sore in the legs but already much better. Just black and blue. I was more concerned about how to maintain the nice improvement to smooth out that same rippling you mentioned. My PS said gently massage the sides but from your experience, I think I will avoid massage until a few more weeks. I can see why you did not do the nipples, I really did not miss having them, such a weird thing. But that part has gone just fine. I am numb there anyway so that part was not at all painful. I get the stitches out this week. And tatoos at some later date. My husband has been super supportive, leaving all the decisions up to me but once I got the "nipples", he says it makes them more real looking.
I was more interested in the fat grafting, making sure it "takes". But I agree that it was quite an ordeal and not sure I would do it again. One whole week of being pretty useless, only minimal stuff around the house and the compression garment and the bruises and not being able to exercise. I am very encouraged that you retained most of the fat and that is smoothed out the ripples; the rippling was my least favorite thing. Thank you so much again for the reply.

Liposuctioned areas will hurt the most. Recovery is about 2 week.

I had both done a same time. Nipples didn't hurt because I had Diep flap reconstruction and my breast mounds have no feelings in them. Later tattoo in dr office. Fat graphing, had out of my upper inside of both legs. Very sore and black and blue. Couldn't wear shorts.looked awful. I bought compression shorts wore under my pants. Legs felt like jello and these gave a lot of support. You should b fine in a week. I had fat graphing the 2nd surgery with taken from my sides under arms. It really looked good when completed.. It just didn't stay very long. I don't plan to do again. I have a drop in on the top of my breast. But hey I am pleased with my looks. 7 years n October survivor! Yea!!

Hi aida123 I'm about 3 months out from that surgery. I decided against nipples. Just not that important to me. I'll get tattoos at some point. I just had the fat grafting done and I literally looked like an extra from the walking dead! I was that bruised. I had a really rough time with the recovery from this surgery. Very painful. Of course everyone is different but I would never ever go through fat grafting again. I've retained most of the fat and it definitely smoothed out the rippling in my implants. Massaging was not recommended by my ps until after 4 weeks. They didn't want the fat disturbed in any way. My doc told me that I could go back to work after about a week. I ended up taking 2 weeks off. I was really sore, especially my thighs whet they harvested the fat from. How are you feeling, and what has been your experience?
