Tamoxifen Interactions - Grapefruit Seed. Licorice, Lemon Peel, Orange Peel Extracts in Moisturize, Shampoo, Sunscreen

Any else concerned about using moisturizer, shampoo, body lotion, sunscreen etc. with intransigents that interfere with tamoxifen - Grapefruit seed extract, Orange Peel extract and/or oil, Lemon peel extract and/or oil, Licorice, etc. It's nearly impossible to products without this stuff? Does it get adsorbed through sink into bloodstream?

Love the Aubrey Organics! Looked at my Ultra Balm sunscreen but it has Grapefruit Seed Extract in it. I'll look around. I use pine tar shampoo.

Yeah, just to be safe, I recently started using Argan Oil as a moisturizer and found the Acure skin care and shampoo to be free of any of this stuff. I also am trying to avoid Talc, have switched to Ecco Bella and Aubrey Organics face powder and blush. Also switched to Badger lip balms and sunscreen, except the sunscreen is very heavy zinc oxide and leaves a white film...any other suggestions for sunscreen?

Anything you put on your skin gets absorbed. It is the same as ingesting it. I am using cocoanut oil as a body lotion. It is wonderful and healthy. But don't know about interfering with tamoxifen.

As far as I've been able to gather, it's oral consumption of tangeretin that is the issue but you bring up a great point regarding absorption.
