I came out of surgery with a camisole that zipped up the front & drains pinned to outside of it. Very comfortable. I would ask my dr? I bought very loose sports bras & pinned drains on them. One drain in for 2 weeks, the other 3 1/2 weeks. I am still wearing sports bras, very comfortable. To shower with drains in, I tied a piece of ribbon & hung a piece of ribbon around my neck & pinned drains over ribbon.

I took it off when I came home. Sport bras are very comfortable.

My ace bandage fell off within two days of the reconstruction surgery and I wore the stretchy bra/shirt thingy that I was placed in at surgery. When I visited my PS a week following surgery, she removed the drains and had me wear a tight zipping sports bra.
