If so, I would love to hear more information. My genetic counselor called the testing company, as that's what my results said to do. They told her they had very little data and were not researching any further with the ATM gene at this time. My mom, who also had breast cancer at 40, and a second primary one at 62 is undergoing further genetic testing to see if she has the same mutation. We both tested negative for BRCA 1&2.

Do you know why radiation is not good when you carry the ATM mutation? I have it and this scares me thank you
Also ICARE (Inherited Cancer Registry)collects data on gene mutations. Their # is (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) and ther email (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) They have A registry online. I have been updating my research file. I also have the ATM gene mutation.
Radiation is not good for you if you have the ATM mutation.
