Had a bilateral masectomy with immediate reconstruction (full implants) on nov 25. How long do you generally need to be on pain medication? I am on Percocet and have gone from 2 to 1, and also have some Vicodin I can ween down too. Not in terrible pain but I'm afraid to stop the pain meds because I don't know if the only reason I'm not in pain is because of the pain meds! I have no idea how long a person generally uses the meds for to even set a goal.
Went to the ps today, my implants were 750cc. I got the drains out so he said I should be able to ease off the meds! :)
I think it's probably different for everyone and their pain threshold. I'm trying to piece my memory together...I had a bilateral on July 11, 2013. I traveled to Boston for my sister's wedding August 6. I used percocet and valium for flying with two children, bag carrying and crap. So I still had SOME pain and needed/wanted to be comfortable, but by then I think I really only used meds for sleeping, and implant expansions. Does that help? Hugs.
I was already a d cup and the ps said I have enough to work with. I am bruised and swollen but they look great to me! I think they were 700-800cc if that sounds right. I wasn't paying attention at the time really, I was too freaked at that point to care! Lol
How did you get full implants without expanders ? How many cc ? My bmx is in three weeks /
