The next thing I want to say is please Ladies - get a Bidet toilet seat as soon as you hear the word “chemotherapy”. All of them affect your digestive system in one way or another. You will struggle to keep things clean

I’m 2+ years past my last treatment and have been on tamoxifen for almost two years. Before I got breast cancer I had lost some weight, (30 lbs) mainly during Covid when there was nothing else to do, I walked 2&1/2 -3 miles a day. Now since I’ve been on anti estrogen meds, & I haven’t changed my diet, but I’m walking a little less, partly because the side effects of tamoxifen, I’m tired more, I’ve gained over 20 lbs. back. It’s got to the tamoxifen, also I feel as though I’ve aged more in the last few years. A friend of mine who has breast cancer and is on tamoxifen, has gained 20 lbs. also. It is one of the many side effects.

While doing chemo I started at about 157 went down to 119, after chemo I started gaing my weight back, so between May 22 to April 23 which was my last immunotherapy I've be steadily gaining it back and I'm now eating. Thank God.

Your appetite does fluctuate. I am taking arimidex now and side effects weight gain. I am just the opposite. I believe my stomach has shrunk.
