CA 27.29 normal levels are 0.0-38.6
My oncologist doesn't run this during treatment. Chemo can cause levels to elevate. Mine was done prior to chemo.

I just saw my CEA that went up from1.3 to 1.6 in 3 months ( I finished chemo in Jan 2014 and Herceptin in Nov 14) . Dr told me she thinks I am fine. The normal range is 0-5....but why did it go up??? I am so anxious....to reassure me doctor said we can repeat a test in a month....I really want to calm down but keep thinking about bad scenarios.

@A MyBCTeam Member I don't think they give us the results of that test and a few others.

mine now is 30 just got it done, it was 146 then it was 56 now it is 30.....and it changes as you get chemo...dr. does not go only by tm he goes by scans also.
