Yes, I did have nausea and loss of appetite from radiation thereapy. I also had fatigue during and after treatment. Like Lisa, I too suffer from memory loss and brain delay...and no, the radiologist denies this is a side effect. I was 57 at the time and two years later I still have these side effects.

Not yet. I'm 20 doses in and just pain and burnt skin but the pain might be leftover surgery pain/healing I think.

@ AndreaBeth, Yes! I did, and a loss of appetite too, along with the worn out feeling that has still stuck with me. I finished my radiation in February of 2009, but I happen to be one of those women who still feel the effects of the tiredness from the radiation. I actually was just to a physiologist last week who was testing my brain for some issues that I have been having with memory loss and brain delay (I can't think of simple words when I need to, and I am only 45). The testing revealed that I do have a mental delay and short-term memory loss and he says that it can be attributed to the radiation treatments and that he sees it all the time with cancer patients, even though oncologists deny that it is at all possible! Hugs, Lisa

I don't think a lot of it is due to radiation that much. I was told it can take up to a year or so to get the Chemo out of your system and it has to do with the chemo than the radiation. But everybody is different.
