I am starting Tamozifen tomorrow and scared of the side effects. Was wondering if any of my sisters are having side effects and if so, what are they?

I've had minimal side effects. Exercise as much as you can - it gets rid of the joint pain.

I still get hot flashes (not as bad as when I was on chemo) and some leg cramping.

But to me, it's worth taking because I don't want to go through this again.

You also need to drink lots of water!!!

MaryJo,
I was told by my NP that it doesn't matter when you take it. I take mine at bedtime as well. Day 3... I'm definitely more tired. I feel muscle aches, stiff knees and mild nausea thus far.

@A MyBCTeam Member Taking it will give me a 2-3% benefit so I'm going to try it but my oncologist left it up to me. He said if the side effects are bad I can come off it.
