I had my port removed in December. I am still having an ache below the collarbone. Usually it is associated with pain in my shoulder and nerve pain into my arm. Has anyone else experienced this?
I had mine removed exactly a month ago and my pain is intense. I told my husband that sometimes with pressure (lifting, pushing, raising my arm etc) it feels like my collarbone is broken or⦠read more
I saw two oncologists. Each one had a totally different approach.
Dr. 1 - recommended taxol (12wks) and herceptin (1yr)
Dr 2 - recommended no chemo due to size, tamoxifen only
Original diagnosis before mastectomy was DCIS grade 3 ER/PR +
Monika2 same with me...4 years of tamoxifen with micrometastisis in sentinel node and now it's back in another lymph node
Just walk in and say
I had an original tumor of 2.5cm. Through MRIs and a third biopsy I found out I have another 5 tiny (.5mm or so) ones in the same breast. My other one is completely clear.
My surgeon highly recommends a single masectomy and a lift bc of the numerous ones in there already and even thou I am having chemo to shrink them or make them dissappear she won't change her mind on her recommendation. That being said...
First of all I am getting a second and third surgeon opinion from my chemo hospital.

I had my bilateral mastectomy on Dec 8th and I still don't have feeling in my armpits and under arms. Is this normal??? Onc says it may be from surgery or may be my fibro.
My surgeon told it comes back for some ppl 6 years now and still numb
I had 7 lymph nodes removed during my mastectomy on 1/5. I have a good amount of nerve pain even on the meds. Has anyone found anything else that has helped them with this pain?
My arm pit was so sore and sensitive! I did same things Melissa did. It did pass.
Question for anyone that has gotten an arm tattoo post lymph dissection on the effected side...did it cause you to develop lymphedema in that arm? I am really wanting to finish out my sleeve and am not trying to move to the other arm yet.
Please only answer if you personally have gotten one. I am looking for actual results/experiences, not opinions.
I'm not sure if iam reading your question correctly about getting a tattoo after your lympnodes are removed from a tattoo artist or the surgeon first off. I can personally tell you this you can not⦠read more
