Worried About Post Surgery Toddler Care

Worried About Post Surgery Toddler Care

Sorry for second question very similar. How long before you could drive after exchange surgery? Also, my toddler is super rough with me and I keep having visiins of pulled stitches *even dreamt about it* and I'm freaking out. Do they heal faster than they did after mastectomy? I know I can ask surgeon but she is not me , never healed from it before with a toddler in tow

There would be more area to heal I would think after a mastectomy. But you will still have that suture line. Some people heal quicker than others. I expect your previous experiences would be your best guide. Gals is she going to have anymore than an incision to remove a prosthesis and slip a new one back in. Will they be putting in another expander to make room for a final prosthesis or will they be putting in your final prosthesis? Basically those things are put in a pocket the surgeon has created or creates to put the posthesis in. I hope this all makes some sense. I have not yet experienced this and maybe someone who has can give you a better patient perspective. Wish I could be of more help.
