I have seen several women who have opt for lumpectomy has recurrence of breast cancer. If you want to eliminate the probability of recurrence I would do bilateral mastectomy.

I am 66 and had a 2.2 cm tumor
high grade . They did a lumpetomy and waited until results of Taylor’ X study were out. I just completed radiation and will start 8 rounds of chemo
Radiation was easy . The only side effect I had was fatigue .
Good luck with your treatment and surgery . Sending❤️🙏

I highly recommend a second opinion, preferably from a major cancer center at a teaching
