I say for me, my best friend was my little travel neck pillow a friend bought me. You won't want to lay flat and this keeps your head from kinking. I also took my own pajamas and very soft blanket.

geez, what am I in for? I am scheduled for bilateral mastectomy with expanders last week of Jan 2015.Are you really sore for 6 mos? Someone posted that on here. My left lymph nodes will also be removed.
